Exhaust system suitable for BMW M2 G87 - valved system & sports exhaust
The M2 G87 carries the same S58 biturbo as the M3 and M4, and is silenced just as heavily from the factory. Here you will find exhaust systems suitable for the BMW M2 G87 and the M2 CS: the GRAIL 3 inch valved system suitable for BMW M2 / M2 CS G87 with ECE type approval and a sports exhaust from Milltek. For the compact M that means a real straight-six voice instead of restraint.
3 inch, factory valve control, no registration entry
The GRAIL system runs on your M2's factory valve control - drive modes and the M buttons operate the valves exactly as standard, with no remote. The work is done in our own workshop in Essen, usually within a day. 50% deposit when ordering, the rest after fitting - customers from the Ruhr area use this just as much as those travelling in from Stuttgart, Frankfurt or Hanover.
Frequently asked questions about the M2 G87 exhaust
Does the GRAIL system on the M2 G87 need a registration entry?
No. ECE type approval means no registration entry in the EU and the car is ready to drive right after fitting - provided the engine and the rest of the exhaust are otherwise standard.
Does the system also fit the M2 CS G87 and the LCI?
Yes, the GRAIL system fits the M2 G87 and the M2 CS. For facelift cars we are happy to check the fit in advance using your chassis number.
Does the M2 G87 with a valved system sound like an M4?
Very similar - same S58, same character. Thanks to the shorter wheelbase the M2 even feels a touch more direct.
How are the valves controlled on the M2?
Through BMW's factory control: drive modes and the M buttons on the steering wheel. No extra module on show, no remote.
Can I order the fitting in Essen at the same time?
Yes - choose the order with fitting, pay 50%, agree a date and collect the car with the system installed.
