The Toyota GR Yaris is one of the most exciting performance cars of recent years – a compact homologation hot hatch with all-wheel drive and the G16E-GTS three-cylinder turbo engine from the rally program. However, the acoustics Toyota imposed on the pre-facelift model simply didn't suit its character. The GRAIL flap exhaust system rectifies this: full three-cylinder punch, characteristic turbo sound, clear and present in Sport mode.

Completely made of L304 stainless steel, handcrafted in Germany. ECE type approval – therefore registration-free in all EU vehicles with standard approval. Ready to drive immediately after installation.

Specifically developed for the GR Yaris pre-facelift

This GRAIL exhaust system is designed exclusively for the pre-facelift Toyota GR Yaris. Toyota made structural changes with the facelift – therefore, there is a separate, precisely manufactured system for each model. If you drive a facelift model, you will find the version specifically designed for it in the shop under the corresponding GRAIL product.

Flap control – via the factory Toyota control system

The GRAIL exhaust system's valves are controlled via your GR Yaris's factory control unit. Operation is as usual – in Sport mode, the valves open fully and deliver the full GRAIL sound; in Comfort mode, they remain closed and comply with ECE emissions standards.

• In Sport mode: full GRAIL sound
• In Comfort mode: discreet and ECE-compliant

No remote control, no additional control element inside.

Tailpipes – 2x 115 mm, left and right

The exhaust system comes with two prominent 115 mm tailpipes – one on the left and one on the right. Compared to the OEM tailpipes of the GR Yaris, this is a clear leap in appearance and performance. You have a choice of color:

• Brushed stainless steel: Classic sporty, high-quality look at the rear
• Black: A subtle yet aggressive look – particularly well-suited to the black GR Yaris or dark rims.

Material & workmanship

LMade entirely of 304 stainless steel, with CNC-precision machined components. The silencers are specially tuned to the G16E-GTS three-cylinder turbo engine in the GRAIL sound lab. Flow-optimized pipe routing minimizes exhaust backpressure. The solid stainless steel flaps switch precisely and are built to withstand everyday use.

Swiss suitability assessment

Upon request, you can receive a Swiss suitability assessment for the GRAIL system for an additional fee. If interested, simply contact support.

Information on admission

Registration-free thanks to ECE type approval – applies to all EU vehicles with standard registration. For imported vehicles with a different operating permit, please check registration requirements before ordering. The ECE type approval certificate should be kept in the vehicle's glove compartment.
