Finally the first M3 Touring models in its history – and with the GRAIL valve exhaust system you get exactly the sound that the S58 is earned. A 510 hp twin-turbo inline six-cylinder engine, combined with the acoustic restraint of the factory exhaust system – it just doesn't work. GRAIL changes that.

Built on a 3-inch pipe system made of L304 stainless steel, completely handcrafted in Germany. ECE type approval included, meaning: no registration required throughout the EU, ready for immediate use after installation. No TÜV waiting time, no registration bureaucracy.

The special feature: The factory-installed BMW exhaust flap control remains fully intact. You keep your original MSport mode, your sound switch in iDrive, your familiar driving feel – only now the system delivers what BMW holds back from the factory. Fuller, more powerful. S58-degree character in Last mode, subtle in Cruise mode. Just as BMW intended. M intended.

Tailpipe selection – 100 mm or 115 mm

You have a choice when it comes to appearance. Both tailpipe variants are technically identical; the difference is purely in the rear look.

• 100 mm: Stays close to the OEM look, discreetly integrated into the diffuser – for all those who want to keep the Touring character clean.
• 115 mm: Significantly more prominent, noticeably thicker, immediately recognizable as aftermarket – suitable for setups with the M Performance Carbon Diffuser

Both versions are available in brushed stainless steel or matte black.

Material & workmanship

L304 stainless steel is the standard by which GRAIL is measured – rust-resistant, heat-resistant, and durable. All components are CNC-milled with precision, and the valves are machined from solid material. The silencers were specially tuned in the GRAIL sound lab to the frequency characteristics of the S58 tuned. Maximum sound with the valve open, maximum damping with the valve closed – the distinctive GRAIL delta.

FLOW DOWN® is an official GRAIL partner in the Ruhr area and specializes in the installation of sports exhaust systems. Customers who order the system with installation from us receive our deposit payment model:

• 50% deposit upon order placement, remaining balance due upon receipt of the system at our workshop
• We'll pay upfront for you at GRAIL
• The installation date will be arranged directly with you.

Important: The deposit payment option applies exclusively to bookings including installation and is only available via prepayment/bank transfer. PayPal or other payment methods are not accepted for this service.

For Swiss customers, we offer a Swiss suitability assessment upon request for an additional fee. Simply request it via our support team.

• BMW M3 Touring Competition G81

Not suitable for: M3 G80 Sedan, M4 G82 Coupé, M4 G83 Cabrio – these models have identical SThe 58 has a different exhaust system geometry. Separate GRAIL systems are available in the shop for this.

Information on admission

The GRAIL exhaust system has a valid ECE type approval. For all EU vehicles, this means no registration is required. For imported vehicles with a different operating permit, please check briefly before ordering whether registration is necessary. The ECE type approval certificate should be carried in the vehicle.
