Does the Street Pro V.1 rear add-on have to be entered in the papers?

Yes. A parts certificate exists for the V.1, so inspection under §21 StVZO and entry in the papers. The V.2 of the same part runs with a type approval and is exempt from registration - if the inspection appointment matters to you, that is the decisive difference.

How do the V.1 and V.2 differ visually?

The V.1 has more angular fins and a straighter lower edge. The V.2 is the calmer design with a softer transition to the bumper corners. Both cover the same area.

Does the rear add-on fit an aftermarket exhaust?

The cut-outs are designed for the standard tailpipes. With a different exhaust, send us a photo of the rear beforehand and we will check the tailpipe position.

Why is the 10 mm plate more demanding to fit than a moulded part?

Because it is stiff. A moulding conforms to slight waves in the apron, a 10 mm plate does not. Where needed you shim it out - pulling the part into shape with the screw instead leads to stress cracks later.
