What is the difference from the gloss version?

Only the finish. The shape is identical. Matt does not reflect and recedes visually; gloss black stands out clearly, especially on light paintwork.

Is matt easier to look after?

In this spot yes. Matt surfaces show water marks and fine scratches less. What you should avoid are aggressive cleaners and solvents - they make the area shine in patches, and that stays visible.

Does the set fit an A3 without S line?

No. It is designed for the side skirts of the S3 and the A3 with S line exterior.
