Carbon fiber materials are characterized by high durability and low weight. Carbon is very often used in motorsports, especially in vehicle aerodynamics. Various types of spoilers, diffusers, splitters and flaps are often made from carbon.

The elements we offer are manufactured in our Carbon Division - a production branch specializing in the processing of carbon. This also includes the side splitters for the BMW 1 Series F40 M-Package/ M135i. Side splitters are the aerodynamic components of the vehicle sides that cover the lower part of the vehicle's sills.

These side splitters lower the body both visually and physically. This reduces the airflow space under the car by 2 centimeters. The splitters are provided with mounting holes. These holes allow you not to affect the structure of the elements, which does not reduce their resistance.

The splitters are made in Poland. They are produced using thermal printing technology. The carbon fiber is hardened at high temperature and pressure. An autoclave is used for this. This is the most modern method of carbon production, which guarantees an excellent result - both in terms of durability and appearance.

We ship carbon products well secured - in addition to the normal foil that protects the component from scratches, we use a large amount of bubble wrap and a protective mat that protect the product from shocks and vibrations during transport.

Bekommt der Carbon Schweller nicht viel Steinschlag ab?

Doch, das ist die exponierteste Stelle am Auto – beim F40 schleudern die angetriebenen Vorderräder Rollsplitt direkt dagegen. Das Laminat hält das aus, aber die klare Deckschicht bekommt über die Jahre feine Einschläge. Wer viel Autobahn fährt, sollte über eine Lackschutzfolie auf der Vorderkante nachdenken.

Muss ins Carbon gebohrt werden?

Nein. Die Befestigungslöcher sind ab Werk gesetzt, wir bohren nicht nach. Jede zusätzliche Bohrung würde das Gewebe an dieser Stelle durchtrennen.

Warum wird bei Carbon von Hand angezogen?

Weil punktueller Druck auf blankem Laminat Sternrisse in der Deckschicht erzeugt. Die bekommt man nicht mehr weg. Wir arbeiten deshalb mit Unterlegscheiben und ohne Schlagschrauber.

Ist eine Eintragung nötig?

Ja. Für die Schwelleransätze liegt ein Teilegutachten vor, die Abnahme nach § 21 StVZO ist erforderlich.
