Carbon fiber materials are characterized by high durability and low weight. Carbon is very often used in motorsports, especially in vehicle aerodynamics. Various types of spoilers, diffusers, splitters and flaps are often made from carbon.
The elements we offer are manufactured in our Carbon Division - a production branch specializing in the processing of carbon. This also includes the side splitters for the BMW 1 Series F40 M-Package/ M135i. Side splitters are the aerodynamic components of the vehicle sides that cover the lower part of the vehicle's sills.
These side splitters lower the body both visually and physically. This reduces the airflow space under the car by 2 centimeters. The splitters are provided with mounting holes. These holes allow you not to affect the structure of the elements, which does not reduce their resistance.
The splitters are made in Poland. They are produced using thermal printing technology. The carbon fiber is hardened at high temperature and pressure. An autoclave is used for this. This is the most modern method of carbon production, which guarantees an excellent result - both in terms of durability and appearance.
We ship carbon products well secured - in addition to the normal foil that protects the component from scratches, we use a large amount of bubble wrap and a protective mat that protect the product from shocks and vibrations during transport.

It is in fact the most exposed spot on the car - on the F40 the driven front wheels throw grit straight at it. The laminate copes, but over the years the clear top layer picks up fine impacts. If you do a lot of motorway miles, consider paint protection film on the leading edge.
No. The mounting holes are set at the factory and we do not drill extra ones. Any additional hole would cut the weave at that point.
Because point pressure on bare laminate creates star cracks in the top layer. Those cannot be removed. That is why we work with washers and without an impact driver.
Yes. A parts certificate exists for the side skirt add-ons; inspection under §21 StVZO is required.
