Does the kit fit my OEM steering wheel?

Yes. The kit is specially designed for the BMW M2/M3/M4 F series (F87/F80/F82/F83) and fits the OEM steering wheel. Also compatible with Carbon or Alcantara steering wheels.

How complex is the installation?

Plug & Play. Usually no coding required. With some experience, it takes about 30–60 minutes. We recommend assembly at FLOW DOWN®.

What do the N52 magnets do?

They create a defined, crisp pressure point with clear acoustic feedback – faster, more precise shifting.

Short or long paddles – which should I choose?

Short paddles feel OEM-like and compact, long paddles make reaching easier at tight steering angles. Both variants are included in the set.

Is the kit weatherproof?

The integrated Omron switches are IP67 rated (dust & waterproof). The kit is designed for the vehicle interior.

Do the shifting functions remain the same as the original?

Yes. The function corresponds to the original, you just get a much more direct, mechanical click feedback.
