The perfect chassis setup for significantly more driving dynamics
If you've already made some initial performance modifications to your sporty road car, the KW V3 makes it easy to incorporate these into your damper setup. The patented KW valve technology for separate adjustment of the rebound and compression damping allows you to customize KW's vehicle-specific basic setup. For example, the KW bottom valve, which is adjustable in twelve clicks in the low-speed compression damping range, gives you the flexibility to even consider the tire characteristics of your high- and ultra-high-performance road tires when tuning the suspension.
Thanks to the patented pressure adjustment at the lower piston end of the stainless steel housing, you don't even need any tools. The adjustable compression adjustment with its twelve precise clicks allows you to manually influence body roll and sway without having to change the rebound damping, which optimally matches the spring rate.
With the individually adjustable rebound damping of the KW V3, you can directly influence handling and comfort through precise click adjustment. Depending on the vehicle type, the rebound valves of the KW twin-tube dampers are adjusted at the top of the piston rod using an integrated adjustment wheel or the included slip-on adjustment wheel.
By increasing the traction force using the adjustment wheel, you reduce body movement. This makes your car more stable and provides even more stability when cornering at higher speeds. For example, if you switch from the approved wheel/tire combinations of your car manufacturer to larger rims, you can use the KW V3 to perfectly match the driving behavior of your car and your new alloy wheels.
