What does 3D mean on the spoiler lip?

The edge is sculpted and builds up more in the middle instead of tapering flat. That makes the roofline look bolder from behind. The flat version, by contrast, carries the standard line on calmly and hardly reads as an add-on.

Is drilling required for the 3D spoiler lip?

No. It is bonded to the standard spoiler with factory-fitted 3M tape. Nothing on the car is modified and removal is possible.

Can I bond it on myself in winter?

Below 15 degrees the 3M tape does not grab properly, and the tricky part is that the bond holds at first and lifts at a corner weeks later. Warm the car up first or have it done in our heated workshop.

Can the car go through a car wash afterwards?

After 24 hours yes. Before that the bond should be left to set. After that it withstands car washes and pressure washers - just do not hold the jet directly on the bonded edge from close range.
