Description

The FLOW DOWN® replacement plates are the two magnetic plates attached to the back of the license plate. They make any additional license plate compatible with the existing FLOW DOWN® magnet system – ideal for anyone who wants to get more out of their holder.

Typical use cases: carrying a second license plate for alternating plates, preparing a show plate for events or meetings, expanding the system to the front and rear, or using the holders on a second vehicle. Equally suitable as a pure replacement if a plate gets damaged.

Material

High-performance magnetic plates in a robust plastic housing with pre-installed 3M adhesive tape. Weather-resistant and temperature-stable.

Usage

Peel off the protective film from the 3M adhesive tape on the back of the plates, then align it with the bottom edge of the license plate and press firmly. Clean and degrease the adhesive surface thoroughly beforehand.

Optional installation is also possible at FLOW DOWN® in Essen.

Compatibility

The replacement plates fit all FLOW DOWN® magnetic license plate holders – universal as well as all vehicle-specific versions (Audi, BMW, VW, Hyundai, Kia, Toyota, Ford, and more).

Exception Hyundai I30N Facelift: Three differently shaped plates per license plate are required there. Please select the special replacement plates variant for I30N Facelift in the variant selection. 

Scope of delivery

• 2x magnetic plates for the license plate (with pre-mounted 3M- adhesive tape)
• 3x magnetic plates for the license plate (when selecting for I30N FL)

Note: One set is designed for one license plate.

Notes on approval

The replacement plates are part of the FLOW DOWN® magnetic license plate holder system. Material and practical tests are documented, and compliance with §12 FZV when used properly is recorded in the technical product data sheet for the magnetic license plate holder.
