The FLOW DOWN® Wedge V.2 – also known as sun wedge, sun stripe, or front window banner – clearly displays the FLOW DOWN® lettering on the windshield. Clean lines, easily readable, the classic for everyone who wants to showcase the branding directly. Universal size 137 x 25.5 cm – mountable on any windshield.

Made from premium 3M 2080 car wrapping film – the same professional film used for full vehicle wraps. High-pressure, car wash resistant, and UV resistant. The wedge can be removed without residue if needed.

Material

Premium 3M 2080 Car Wrapping Film. Resistant to UV radiation, high-pressure cleaners, and car washes. The film is designed for a service life of several years.

Usage

The V.2 windshield wedge is applied to the outside of the windshield. Before installation, thoroughly clean and degrease the adhesive surface, then align the wedge and press it bubble-free from the inside out using a squeegee.

Note: The matte black wedge appears slightly grayish in the product photos due to studio lighting – in reality, it is a rich matte black. The matte white variant is also noticeably more contrasting in person than in the pictures.

Installation Instructions

1. Clean and degrease the surface
2. Peel off the backing film
3. Align and stick the banner
4. Use the squeegee to press out air bubbles from inside to outside
5. Carefully peel off the transfer film
6. Cut off excess film along the windshield

Films are best processed at room temperature (approx. 20 °C). When repeatedly peeling off to align, the film may tear – therefore, work carefully. Sale is without warranty in case of incorrect application as well as on sealed or waxed surfaces.

Suitable Vehicles

Universally suitable – the size of 137 x 25.5 cm covers almost any vehicle windshield. If necessary, the wedge is cut precisely along the contour of the windshield.

Notes on Approval

The windshield wedge is registration-free and legally usable on public roads as long as the driver's field of vision is not restricted according to §29c StVZO. Pay attention to the field of vision when applying the film.
