Do I have to have the front lip entered in the papers?

No. A general operating permit (ABE/type approval) is in place, so fitting needs no registration entry. You simply carry the papers in the car.

Is the V.6 also different in fit from the other versions?

No, the fit is identical on all versions. It is solely about the line of the visible edge - pick the one you like best visually.

Is there anything to watch out for when washing?

Only with aggressive cleaners such as wheel cleaner - those do not belong on the plastic parts. Car washes and pressure washers are no problem.
