Do I have to have the front lip entered in the papers?

No. A general operating permit (ABE/type approval) is in place, so fitting needs no registration entry. You simply carry the papers in the car.

What separates the V.3 from the other versions?

Only the edge shape. All versions use the same mounting points on the VW Golf 7 R / R-Line facelift apron; the decision is purely about looks.

Does the part fit the Golf 7 R without the facelift too?

No, this part is cut for the facelift apron from 2017. We do not stock a matching version for the earlier model in this range.

Is there anything to watch out for when washing?

Only with aggressive cleaners such as wheel cleaner - those do not belong on the plastic parts. Car washes and pressure washers are no problem.
