The carbon fiber fuel filler cap cover, designed for the pre-facelift Hyundai i30 N, is glued directly over the standard fuel filler cap. The adhesive is applied using a pre-installed 3-piece adhesive strip.M-Adhesive tape – no need to disassemble the original part.

The cover is made of genuine woven carbon fiber using a pre-preg process and cured in an autoclave. Precise 3D scans of the original component ensure a 100% perfect fit, flush with the fuel cap contour.

Material

Genuine woven carbon fiber manufactured using the pre-preg process and cured in an autoclave. Clear glossy lacquer finish, dimensionally stable and resistant to UV radiation, moisture and temperature fluctuations outdoors.

The cover is glued directly over the original fuel filler cap. The gluing is done using the pre-assembled 3M-Adhesive tape – the fuel cap does not need to be removed. Thoroughly clean and degrease the adhesive surface before installation.

Optionally, installation is also possible at FLOW DOWN® in Essen.

Does the carbon fuel cap cover fit every Hyundai i30 N VFL?

No, the cover only fits all pre-facelift models without OPF of the Hyundai i30 N and i30 Fastback N.

What material is the cover made of?

The cover is made of genuine woven carbon using the Pre-Preg process and cured in an autoclave. The surface is clear glossy lacquered.

Does the fuel cap cover need to be registered?

No. It is purely an aesthetic cover that does not affect the safety or approval of the vehicle and is therefore exempt from registration.

Is the original fuel cap replaced or covered?

The cover is glued directly over the original fuel cap. Removing or replacing the original part is not necessary.

How is the cover installed?

3M adhesive tape is already pre-mounted on the back. Thoroughly clean and degrease the adhesive surface on the original cap before installation, then carefully place the cover accurately and press down.

Is the cover weatherproof?

Yes. Thanks to the autoclave-cured pre-preg carbon and the protective clear coating, the cover is resistant to UV radiation, moisture, and temperature fluctuations outdoors.
