The carbon fiber interior trim set, 4-piece, suitable for the Audi A3, SThe RS3 8Y upgrade kit specifically enhances the dashboard in the visible area around the driver and navigation system. The kit includes the driver's side light switch trim, the center dashboard trim, and the two trim pieces to the left and right of the navigation display.

All four covers are glued directly over the standard components. The gluing is done using a pre-assembled 3M-Adhesive tape – no need to disassemble the original parts. Manufactured from genuine woven carbon fiber using a pre-preg process and cured in an autoclave. Thanks to precise 3D scans of the original components, all four parts fit together perfectly.

Material

Genuine woven carbon fiber manufactured using the pre-preg process and cured in an autoclave. Clear glossy lacquer finish, dimensionally stable and resistant to UV radiation and temperature fluctuations in the vehicle interior.

The four covers are glued directly over the original components on the dashboard. The gluing is done using the pre-assembled 3M-Adhesive tape – the serial parts do not need to be disassembled. Thoroughly clean and degrease the bonding surfaces before assembly.

Optionally, installation is also possible at FLOW DOWN® in Essen.

How close does the carbon look to the Audi factory carbon equipment?

Visually very close to the factory carbon on Audi RS models. The even weave and clear high gloss match the look Audi fits from the factory. As we work with real pre-preg carbon in the autoclave, you get the same material quality as the original.

Can you see the bonded joint between the cover and the original trim?

No. The covers are made from precise 3D scans of the original parts and finish cleanly against the contours. Fitted carefully, the bonded edge is not visible in the interior.

Does the clear coat yellow from UV inside the car?

No. The clear coat used is UV-stable. Even under intense sunlight through the windscreen the carbon look is retained permanently and does not yellow.

Do the light switch and controls work without restriction after fitting?

Yes. The cover is bonded only to the visible face of the light switch panel - buttons, dials and all functions remain fully usable. Operation does not change from standard.

Can the covers be removed again without residue if needed?

With a little heat from a hairdryer the 3M tape can be warmed evenly and the cover removed. Any adhesive residue on the original part can be removed gently with adhesive remover.

Does the set fit the RS3 8Y with the digital cockpit extension too?

Yes. The set is based on the identical dashboard carrier Audi fits in the A3, S3 and RS3 8Y - regardless of the cockpit version. Light switch position, centre panel and the areas beside the navigation are identical in all trims.
